How to Check Local Currency and Shipping Estimates

1. Start with a Vehicle You Want to Compare

Open a vehicle from Vehicle Search. Review its USD price and specifications so that you know exactly which vehicle you are budgeting for.

Keep the listing link. If you compare several vehicles, record each link alongside the displayed price and the date you checked it. Availability and the quotation applicable to a purchase should be confirmed with our team.

2. Choose Your Currency Under Local Estimate

Find Local estimate and select the currency you use to plan your budget. The tool converts the displayed USD amount into an approximate local currency value. Check the currency code as well as the number, especially if several currencies use a similar symbol.

The conversion helps you answer, “How does this vehicle fit my budget at home?” It does not change the transaction currency. As explained in the website's About currency estimates notice, final quotations and payments are in USD. Your bank's exchange rate and transfer fees may differ from the website's reference calculation.

If an exchange-rate update time is displayed, note it. Recheck the estimate when you return to a vehicle later, and confirm the actual conversion cost with your bank before payment.

3. Select Your Shipping Route

Use the shipping fields on the vehicle page in this order:

• Destination country: choose the supported destination for your shipment.
• Destination port: choose the available port that matches your receiving plan.
• Shipping method: choose from the options available for that route.

Read the result under Vehicle + estimated freight. Make sure the country, port, and method still match your intended route before comparing the total with another vehicle.

If your destination or preferred method is unavailable, ask our team about your route. Selecting a nearby port as a substitute may leave additional transport and import arrangements outside the estimate.

4. Understand What the Displayed Amount Covers

The vehicle page identifies the result as a vehicle and estimated freight amount and displays Local transport & export fees included. Ask our team to confirm the exact services, route, and charge breakdown in your formal quotation.

For budgeting, keep these amounts distinct:

• Vehicle price: the starting price of the selected vehicle.
• Vehicle and estimated freight: the combined on-page estimate for the selected shipping options. Do not add the vehicle price to this total again.
• Formal quotation: the transaction-specific costs, included services, and terms confirmed by MAX AUTO.
• Destination and payment costs: amounts you need to check separately, such as local clearance, taxes, registration, onward transport, and your bank's fees.

A shipping option appearing in the calculator does not confirm that a particular vehicle is eligible for import or registration in your country. Make that check with your local broker or authority before committing to the purchase.

5. Compare Vehicles on the Same Basis

When comparing two candidates, use the same destination port, shipping method, and local currency. Save the date of each estimate and check whether both vehicles are still available.

For example, one vehicle may have a lower advertised price while another better matches your destination's requirements or your operating needs. Compare the vehicle itself and the costs still to be confirmed, as well as the on-page total.

Your planning worksheet can be simple: vehicle link, USD price, selected route, vehicle-and-freight estimate, local currency reference, and destination costs awaiting confirmation. Leave unknown costs marked as unknown until you receive a reliable figure.
